Martillion

A Contrast Films Production 2000 (Colour, 27mins, PAL)
Written and Directed by Ruhul Amin

Synopsis:
Frozen Moments addresses the often-unacknowledged subject of intro-community hostility and conflict, following a group of young Bengali undesirables, 'existing' on the margins of their community. Like animals lying in wait, watching then pouncing upon their unsuspecting prey, the laws of the East End urban jungle dictate only the strongest survive and rule. As a bride runs away to escape an arranged marriage, a youth to escape violence, and another to escape the past, the results mean they too are hunted targets in this vicious cycle of life.
